Douglas Vale Historic Homestead & Vineyard a not for profit organisation run by volunteers since 1995. DV is looking for a VolunteerCo ordinator with relevant experience in communicating with a variety of people and activities and organizational skills. This is a committee position. Come and join the team. We are open to the public on Wednesdays and Saturdays & Sundays 10am to 3pm.
DouglasVale historic Homestead&Vineyard is a not for profit 100% powered volunteer organisation. We have a homestead museum, vineyard & cellar door.We are looking for people interested in guiding the public in our historic Homestead with its fasinating history and joining our friendly team.
Douglas Vale Historic Homestead and Vineyard ( a not for profit run totally by volunteers) require a Admin Officer for 12-15 hrs a week. Volunteering on Wednesday and Saturday . Come and be a part of a fun team preserving Port Macquarie's history.
Brighten up hearts of an elderly person and your own by simply providing company, playing music, showing pictures on Google Maps when searching for the birth place or the person’s past, just chatting away, having a coffee together or just be present. You will be rewarded with incredible stories and satisfaction of achievement. Your qualities: compassionate, generous and selfless dedication. Become our organisation's backbone. Time: 1 or 2 hours per week or fortnight. Timing is flexible.
Individual Social Support is about creating connections between isolated older people and the community. The community volunteers in this role are matched with an older person experiencing isolation for the purposes of social interaction, accompanied errands such as shopping, and increased community connection. We require a volunteer to be matched with a client who lives in the Balmain area.
Our volunteer-led Not-For-Profit group, CANsign, has dispatched hundreds of thousands of signs/stickers for Climate Action Network Australia (CANA) member groups. We organise print, design, and dispatch services for other NFP groups, and we love what we do. We are looking for energetic volunteers to join our happy team to help in this rewarding work we do for all CANA groups. Currently operating out of NSW and near the ACT, CANsign is now looking to expand into other cities/States.

The Coordinator will commence as a dog reading team volunteer and after two school terms receive training to take on the Coordinator position. The Coordinator will recruit, train, support, manage and give recognition to volunteers within the region. The position will also raise awareness of the Story Dogs brand and services. This is a non paid, volunteer role. This role requires you to have a suitable dog.

Kitchen assistant required To assist the chef with morning tea and lunch. Waratah is an a respite centre helping our elderly in the community.
We are looking for a gardener to maintain our beautiful gardens, that our elderly clients enjoy. The gardener will keep the area free of weeds and keep the fountains clean and Cut back any overgrown vegetation. Our gardener will enjoy a free hot lunch and morning tea provided by our chef.
We have a fun position at Woolgoolga day programme helping our elderly clients with quizzes, bingo, morning tea and lunch. We are looking for a volunteer for Fridays between 9am and 3pm. A staff member will be on hand to train the volunteer
