Each Tuesday we take a minivan full of seniors to locations around Melbourne for a day out with friends. Balwyn Evergreen is a community centre for older people that runs social support programs. We offer a popular Wednesday community lunch and entertainment program. We're looking for a program assistant to volunteer each Wednesday from 11am-2pm. The role involves supporting the set up of the dining room, serving the meal and enjoying your lunch (provided) with the clients. You'll also support clients to participate in the post-lunch entertainment.
