    Donnybrook Repair Corner

    Be an Eco Warrior - Donnybrook Volunteer Repairer and help your community reduce waste going to landfill. The Donnybrook Repair Corner event will run on the first Saturday every month providing local residents of Donnybrook and surrounding areas with an opportunity to have personal items repaired by skilled volunteer repairers. It is a free, all inclusive cross cultural event to raise awareness of how to have a more sustainable lifestyle and divert items from landfill in our community.

    Candlebark Community Nursery

    Want hands-on work that actually helps the environment? We grow local native (indigenous) plants from seed or cuttings for revegetation projects or local gardens. Our retail area is open to the public for plant sales. More indigenous plants in gardens and larger revegetation projects provide habitat for native animals, birds and insects, and reduce species loss. We rely on volunteers but lockdowns hit us hard. Please help us get back to the thriving nursery from before the pandemic!
