Hey Ellenbrook! Radio VCA88.6FM is growing its music scene in 2024. We're on the lookout for presenters to vibe with us every Tuesday or Thursday morning and Tuesday afternoons. This 'once in a lifetime' opportunity involves presenting a programme live-on-air on Radio VCA 88.5fm. No radio experience? No problem - Training will be provided with 100% support.
While the primary role of the SES is to respond to incidents involving floods and storms, it also provides crucial support and assistance to other emergency service organisations. SES is open to men and women with a reasonable degree of physical fitness and a passion to get involved within their community. When a natural disaster strikes or an emergency situation arises, DFES’s SES volunteers can be found providing a wide range of volunteer services to help the community.

The Darling Range Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade Communications work at the control centre of a fire or search manning the radios, tracking firies, mapping fire shapes, and providing specialised support to the Incident Management Team (IMT).
Albany Sea Rescue are looking for volunteers to operate a 2 way radio and computer to talk to mariners who call in when going fishing. They operate 24 hours/7 days per week, with 3 shifts per day. Training will be provided. Will need to sit and pass a National Radio Competency exam.
