CUDL urgently requires cooks to prepare meals at home for distribution at our street kitchen in Whitmore Square in the city. Volunteers will prepare budget meals at home once a month for collection by one of our team of drivers. Meals will go to the growing number of people in Adelaide experiencing homelessness who, otherwise, would go hungry.
Volunteers required in our dementia specific Activity Centre's. Key duties can include the following, assisting our Activity Officers with activities, assistance with preparing meals, serving of meals, general kitchen duties, becoming a bus host on our Community Transport bus, which would involve transporting clients to and from Centre. If there is a particular role you are interested in, then that is completely up to you.
Our Social Connections Program supports people aged over 65 to get back to the things they love.
Various kitchen duties, be capable of cutting up food and be able to present food well. Assist in washing up and setting up tables. The role starts with ENTRY LEVEL duties with responsibilities increasing over time. Come and join our wonderful residents for a coffee and a chat at our onsite coffee trolley set up known as 'The Shed' on a Monday 10:30am-12pm. We are seeking volunteers to assist residents to and from the onsite café. This will include collecting residents from their rooms and escorting them to the café, assisting making coffees and joining residents with your own cuppa and refreshments for a chat.
When you volunteer with us, you'll be spending time with elderly residents from HammondCare North Turramurra. This is an opportunity to provide create a cafe like environment, setting the cups and saucers, making coffee (using a pod machine) and serving some light refreshments.
Make everyone’s day by pushing a trolley with all kinds of sweet treats around to residents who are living in care at North Turramurra HammondCare. You’ll bring joy to each person every time you enter the room with a purpose built lolly cart filled with everyone's favourite treats.

Uniting Age Well/Strathdon require a Volunteer Café Assistant for Marny's Café. Apply your customer service and communications skills to assist with preparing hot and cold beverages, handling money, unpacking supplies and cleaning. Also, other duties as required. We are looking for volunteers to operate our kiosk. You will be required to make coffees from our coffee machine and serve biscuits, sell goods from a kiosk cupboard and clean up afterwards.
