Story Dogs
You and your dog can help children find the magic in becoming lifelong readers. The Coordinator and their dog will commence as a volunteer reading team and will then receive training to take on the Coordinator position. The Coordinator will recruit, train, support and give recognition to volunteers within their region. The position will also raise awareness of the Story Dogs brand and services. Generous reimbursement for the travel is available, and a car with comprehensive car insurance is required. Volunteers will pick up and drop off two local seniors from their residences and assist them in doing light shopping at the local center.
