At the direction of the Team Coordinator, the Team Leader supervises Spontaneous Volunteers for disaster relief activities to support and assist homeowners or tenants to clean up after a disaster.
The Ku-ring-gai Chase to be held on 16th June 2024 is a feel-good community fun run around the leafy streets of Wahroonga starting and finishing at Claude Cameron Grove. The event offers a 10km and 5km fun run, a 5km run / walk and a 2km Kids Dash on fully closed roads for all the family and for all abilities. All funds raised will go directly towards supporting the athletes of the Special Olympics Sydney Upper North Shore Club.

To play a key local role in positively supporting athlete and family services in the state. As part of a small team you will deliver activities through our Athlete Leadership and Healthy Communities offers which will align to the National Athlete Leadership strategy. The purpose of the role will be to develop current and future athlete leaders to ensure they can have a greater involvement in their organization and community more broadly through purposeful initiatives.
This is our team of angels that make sure that the admin space and stable block are clean and tidy, the plants are watered, supplies are in stock etc. They also make sure that everything is in good order and is where it is meant to be. This is the perfect role for someone who would like to be near the horses but perhaps isn’t physically able to be on the stable team.

We’re looking for health professionals who’ll become part of one of our choirs and will be on hand to offer support and advice to any participant requiring assistance, for example participants who become anxious or upset during a rehearsal or workshop.
