    Maintenance Workers are responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and premises as well as ensuring facilities are tidy and functional. Ideally you would have some experience or sound handyman skills. The role can require a level of physical stamina from time to time, so you need to possess manual dexterity. You will join a team of dedicated volunteers who provide companionship and a happy team environment. This is a very rewarding role, in a beautiful and peaceful setting. (C)

    Arundel Park Riding for the Disabled Inc

    You do not need to have horse experience to volunteer at APRDA but you could pick up some horse experience by volunteering with us. We are seeking people to assist us with our horse based activities. A great opportunity to help a great cause and get some exercise. A level of fitness is essential as you can be required to stand and walk for up to 1 hour in lessons. Each rider has a volunteer leading their horse and most will have at least one side walker in support. (C)

    Disabled Surfers Association - SA Branch

    The Volunteers primary role is to assist the participants to ride a wave! Each participant has a different disability which can either be physical, intellectual or both. Disabled Surfers Association - SA Branch assist them to enjoy the experience of surfing & ensure they stay safe & injury free in the process. A surfing background is an advantage for volunteers but not essential. However you need to be a physically fit, aged 17+ & be comfortable in the water for periods of up to 2 hours.

    To assist at our Lawn Bowls activity every Monday except public holidays (from 10am to 12noon). As this role requires you to potentially push members in wheelchairs or who require walking frames you will need to be physically fit. Knowledge of bowls a bonus.
