Would you like to be Christies Sailing Clubs next Rescue Boat Officer? Do you have recent and relevant experience in boat handling? If you said yes...then please read on... Races take place on Saturday afternoons at Christies Beach during the summer season (October to April) and four Sundays during the winter season (May to September). The rescue boat is launched at the O'Sullivan Beach Marina, and is manned by two qualified volunteers.
How would you like to be involved in Weekly Bowls? Well, there is a weekly bowls gig held at the Christies Beach Bowling Club. This is on a Friday morning. This will have you involved with helping folks collect bowls, prepare morning tea and other things that help the group facilitator. You don’t need to be a bowler, just like being around older people.
