This role will involve hands on work within a small team of volunteers focusing on maintaining the garden beds within Reynard Street Neighbourhood House and in the adjoining Community Garden where required. This role is a great way to become involved with a meaningful project, while meeting new people, and staying active and involved in your community.
Community Nursery Assistants support the propagation of local provenance native plants for re-vegetation of the local environment within the City of Greater Geraldton. Many and varied tasks are available, depending on the time of season. Duties include seed collecting, seed sorting, decontaminating benches / pots, pricking plants and propagation. The Media & Marketing Coordinator for PNB: Liaise with media outlets and what’s on listings. Plans and implements the marketing and promotions for PNB including special events, meetings, workshops and tours. Liaises with media contacts as necessary to promote PNB activities including news releases. Builds on the PNB media contact list for development and use at events. Works closely with the committee members such as the events, and education organisers to promote our activities.

Could you: * staff the desk * answer the phone * assist with sales & library/loan duties * general housekeeping * & guide people around the Centre? There is a current need for volunteers for: * Wednesdays weekly 10am - 3pm * Fridays weekly 1 - 3 pm * Saturdays fortnightly in the morning
