While the primary role of the SES is to respond to incidents involving floods and storms, it also provides crucial support and assistance to other emergency service organisations. SES is open to men and women with a reasonable degree of physical fitness and a passion to get involved within their community. When a natural disaster strikes or an emergency situation arises, DFES’s SES volunteers can be found providing a wide range of volunteer services to help the community.
Assisting with raising funds through the sales of preloved and new clothing, accessories and homewares to support the everyday work of Red Cross. Volunteers assist to drive sales through delivering excellent customer service, emphasizing on positive shopping experience for our customers.
