People Outdoors, a branch of the Australian Camps Association, was established in 1989 to provide outdoor recreation for people of all ages with physical or intellectual disabilities. Volunteers play a vital role in helping St Mary’s House of Welcome (SMHOW) achieve its mission and provide invaluable support across many areas of the organisation. The purpose of the Kitchen Service Volunteer role is to prepare and serve food for the SMHOW service users so that they can enjoy a nutritious meal which they otherwise may not be able to access.
