The Avalon Centres program, Avalon Homes for the Homeless, mission is to provide affordable accommodation for individuals experiencing homelessness, offering them a safe and welcoming place to rebuild their lives. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual willing to contribute their time and talents to help maintain and improve our properties. Our buildings require regular upkeep, including repairs and general maintenance tasks.

BeachPatrol & Love Our Street litter collection volunteer groups operate in 40+ postcodes. Groups meet monthly to pick up litter from local beaches, streets or parks and meet like-minded people who are passionate about preserving our environment, wildlife, marine life & ecosystems. The groups log their data in the LitterStopper app, which feeds into the DEECA LitterWatch database. We advocate for changes to reduce litter, raise awareness & support the government in tackling issues.
