Maroondah Winter Shelter provides a safe and warm place for homeless males to stay overnight during the winter months, 7 nights per week. Home cooked meals are provided. As a volunteer you would be making a difference to the lives of those who have been sleeping rough. We are presently seeking expressions interest for Group work assistants for our UCan2, psychosocial education, employment and further education and training pathway program. This program is currently underway and happening on Tuesdays, from 10am - 2:30pm since April 30 2024, and runs for 8-10 weeks. Volunteers must have a Blue Card, be keen to make a difference and respectfully curious about learning about other cultures.
