Isolation of the older person will be dramatically reduced through the volunteer visits and interaction around the animal’s care.

    Be part of something great as a volunteer driver at Balwyn Evergreen Centre for our weekly Bus Outings. Each Tuesday we take a minivan full of seniors to locations around Melbourne for a day out with friends. The role includes picking up and dropping off clients from their homes, driving to and from the destination and having fun along the way. Please note, you'll be accompanied by a staff member at all times. Full training and ongoing support provided.

Unlike many residents, he enjoys discussing topics beyond the ordinary and loves listening to Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones.

Volunteer drivers are required for weekly shifts to pick up donated food in the St Mary's House of Welcome van.
