You will be responsible for creating weekly posts for our social media (currently Instagram and Facebook) as well as monthly posts to our WordPress website.
The principal roles of the Secretary are to take and keep rigorous meeting minutes at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the quarterly Management Committee meetings which are to be sent out to all members one week following the meeting date. The Secretary is also responsible for preparing and circulating meeting papers at least one week prior to the Management Committee meetings. The Secretary will also work to support and liaise with the Management Committee President on a regular basis.
The President is elected to the Management Committee for a period of 12 months. The President has two principal roles in addition to the individual roles of all Committee members. 1. A Leadership Role which involves pro-active work on Management Committee papers in discussion with Management Committee prior to each meeting 2. A facilitating role which involves ensuring that there is effective participation and decision making at Committee meetings.
