We are urgently seeking volunteers who are happy to help with functions and events. Events include our Old Style Dance, Morning Melodies, Regular Munchys - our Sausage Sizzle Style event, and varied other special events and private hire functions. We need Volunteers for set up, pack down for functions as well assistance with kitchen, wait staff, admission staff, baristas and bar staff. We are happy to provide training in these areas, just need nice people willing to help and learn.
This role has many and varied tasks. Being primarily responsible for the administrative functions, correspondence, and maintenance of various registers, some PR and promotional functions, it also touches on many aspects of the day-to-day activities of the centre from assisting with events to helping with volunteers, Munchy Mondays Sausage Sizzle, and general cleanliness. This role will report to the Administration Manager.
Our Historic Hall requires some dedicated care and attention. We are seeking someone who will take pride in their role and take responsibility for general cleanliness of floor, walls, windows, kitchen and facilities. You may also be involved in special events or functions, either in the planning or clean up phase as well as helping with other fundraising activities,.

We are proud of what we have built in recent years, but are very reliant on our Volunteers to be able to provide our community events. Currently we are trying to put together a group of two or three volunteers dedicated to cleanup at the close of events. Initially this may be a flexible role dependent on interest, but we hope it will develop into a dedicated clean up team.
