Our volunteer-led Not-For-Profit group, CANsign, has dispatched hundreds of thousands of signs/stickers for Climate Action Network Australia (CANA) member groups. We organise print, design, and dispatch services for other NFP groups, and we love what we do. We are looking for energetic volunteers to join our happy team to help in this rewarding work we do for all CANA groups. Through their lived experience, Peer Supporters provide hope and understanding to anyone impacted by the death of a baby at any time during pregnancy or infancy, or the sudden and unexpected death of a child.
The Volunteer Tutor Scheme is a program that helps migrants and refugees who are unable to attend AMEP English classes, with one on one lessons for 1 hour per week. Anyone can become a volunteer tutor, even if you’re not a native English speaker. All you need is confidence in English, access to transport and the desire to help others learn. You will be helping people to access basic services and connect with the community, thereby having a huge impact on their ability to settle in Australia.
