Pets for Life Volunteers provide practical support as guided by the owner in the care of their companion animal. The role is two-fold in that while assisting to maintain the animal’s welfare, volunteers will also be interacting with and become a support/contact for the older person. Isolation of the older person will be dramatically reduced through the volunteer visits and interaction around the animal’s care.

We are holding a new fundraiser at the school that will include music, dancing, food and entertainment for the community. The event is a more formal event starting with champagne and canapes while being serenaded by a pianist, moving down to the oval, where parties will be shown to their designated tables while a jazz band plays and dinner is served, finishing off with a rock band and some dancing, all while having games, entertainers and auctions happening throughout.

Sundale Aged Care Centre Coolum has a painting group for residents every Wednesday morning. The group needs an additional volunteer to help residents with their colour choice and support residents to complete their paintings. You do not need to be artistic or able to paint yourself to help.
