Story Dogs is a supported reading program built around the appealing idea of children reading to dogs. Weekly reading sessions take place in a quiet area of the school, such as the library or outside the classroom where each child reads one-on-one with the dog team (dog and handler). Please note: volunteers are not required to teach the students, rather encourage the reading process.

Volunteers with Non English Speaking back ground are welcome. Extensive training and support provided, which includes First Aid & CPR.
