Attend once a month management committee meetings for one hour at 5:30 PM at Cominos House as Secretary- apart from taking minutes, other secretary duties can be shared with other committee members. FOCH has a caretaker to look after the building and garden. The management committee meetings are short and run very smoothly.

Friends of Cominos House is seeking a volunteer Treasurer. The opportunity would suit someone with accounting or bookkeeping skills looking to work as part of a small team focused on preserving and enhancing one of Cairns’ oldest surviving Queenslander-style homes. FOCH supports other local organisations and individuals by hiring the Rose Bank Gallery at minimal rates. The committee meets once a month on a Monday.
