At Food on the Table, tasks vary daily and include chopping vegetables, making sausage rolls, pasties, and fruit parcels, packaging food, setting up and packing down for events, and watering our veggie garden. As a volunteer food hub assistant, you will support the daily operations of our organization's food hub in providing nutritious food to community members in need. Your assistance is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the food hub, from processing donations to organizing distribution and everything in between.

As part of the delivery team, you are on the “front line”, delivering our amazing meals out to our customers who need them. If you love a little chat, have a couple of hours in the middle of the day free and want to help out your local community, deliveries are for you! As we deliver in pairs, there are two role options, meaning you do not need to be able to drive or have use of a car to be able to deliver.

The Friends of the Women's and Children's Hospital Incorporated, Shops Auxiliary Division run two shops within the Women's and Children's Hospital (WCH), called Rainbows and Vic's. Monies raised from the shops are donated to purchase important medical equipment for the WCH. As a shop volunteer, you will make a valuable contribution to the life of the hospital, the patients, their families and the broader community.
