  • Dog walkers help care for pets whose owners have a terminal illness

    EPC (Eastern Palliative Care)

Dogs bring joy and their own special brand of beauty into a home. That's where EPC's Palliative Paws program can help. Our volunteers visit a client in their home, once a week, to walk their dog - relieving stress and helping clients to stay at home with their pets for as long as possible - and keeping dogs healthy.

    EPC (Eastern Palliative Care)

Join the Cloud Nine team and help some of the most vulnerable people in our community shine! It can be very hard for people living with terminal illness to take care of the little things we all take for granted: like finding time and feeling well enough to get a haircut. Something as simple as looking well-groomed can make people in this situation feel more like their 'normal' self, and contribute to a sense of wellbeing and reduction in anxiety.
