Mondays or Thursdays 4:30pm to 7:30pm. Spectrum Space runs a social group for kids on the spectrum aged 10 to 18 years. The group runs every Monday or Thursday from 4:30pm. This would be a great opportunity for psychology/social work/community service students to gain experience working with children with autism.
Fortnightly Saturdays 1pm to 4pm or 10am or 1pm in Marangaroo. Our group assistants help young people on the Autism Spectrum with various social activities. Activities include arts, crafts, bowling, laser tag and more. This rewarding opportunity would suit those studying community services, social work, psychology etc
Home Tutors tutor adult migrants in students' houses 1-1 for 1 hour a week. Tutors help migrants to improve their English skills (mainly vocabulary and conversation). They are provided with books and learning materials, training and ongoing support.
