In 2021, we are looking to fill a volunteer position of Mini League Convenor. Essentially, the role is to coordinate a half time game with children from the SFL and the local school footy comp at each South Adelaide home game. There is also an honorarium given at the end of the season to thank you for your time and efforts.
The time keeper is responsible for the accurate timing of the start, ending and quarter times, with a timekeeper from the opposition.
The team manager ensures the smooth running of the team off field, in an administrative and supporting role.
The Junior Coach is responsible the for recruitment, retaining and skill improvement of junior players.
The gate keeper is the first representative of the club that many of the spectators see. They are also responsible for collecting gate fees.
The fundraising officer is responsible for identifying and implementing any fundraising ideas for both the football club, social club and other causes that the club wishes to support.
The Coaches Coordinator oversees all other coaches and assists them in areas that need improving.
The Child Safe Protection Officer ensures that all children are able to play and grow free from harassment, abuse (psychological, psychical, sexual, emotional and neglect).
The Canteen Manager is responsible for the running of the canteen on game days, this includes rostering other members of the club to assist with its operation.
Is the facilitator of the program and is willing to use their experiences to teach young children the joy and fun of the game.
The Apparel officer is responsible for all merchandise that is to be sold during matches and other club events. They also ensure the correct issue to teams of the Guernseys that are needed.
The Recording Officer works closely with other positions on game day to ensure that all information is correctly recorded. Results are then entered into the league database.
The Southern Football league are in need of an experienced Marketing volunteer. This role would also be suitable for a University Marketing Student, this could be your chance to broaden your experiences. The role will be to assist the Southern Football League Board of Directors in promotion of the League.
The volunteer coordinator is responsible for the recruitment and retention of volunteers whilst providing a safe and fair environment for them to work.
The Sponsorship Coordinator seeks out new sponsors and builds on relationships with existing ones.
