    We’re looking for 10 people to support us in hosting 100’s of members during our basketball comp Tuesday nights at Northam Rec Centre. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and healthy environment and help to assist members with questions, pointing them in the right direction, monitoring safe numbers using clickers in areas of the venue such as toilet, entry points, exit points and grandstands. This is a very social, 6 week only role and no exp is required.

You’ll come up with creative ways to teach basketball skills which suit their needs over this 4 week series. Lessons can be written at home, however you’ll need to attend Tuesday eves to make sure they are delivered by the coaches as intended. This is a great short term role for those wanting community service/disability support work experience.

You don’t need ANY basketball experience, just the ability to help the coaches mentor and motivate our 6-10 and/or 10-25yr olds. We teach them to be positive, have good nutrition, be trustworthy, show integrity, be team players and demonstrate good sportsmanship.
