We’re seeking someone to send out messages i.e. match start times to around 100 people using the central P.A system at Northam Rec Centre Tuesday nights Nov-March only and best of all no experience is required.
Scouts meet on a Mon or Thurs evening for 1.5-2 hrs during school terms. We undertake a range of activities and the Leaders role is to educate our young people to learn by doing, in order to develop social, physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual skills to become good citizens. Your role would also include leading at our camps 2-3 weekends during school terms. This is a really fun and rewarding role and no experience is necessary.
We’re looking for 10 people to support us in hosting 100’s of members during our basketball comp Tuesday nights at Northam Rec Centre. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and healthy environment and help to assist members with questions, pointing them in the right direction, monitoring safe numbers using clickers in areas of the venue such as toilet, entry points, exit points and grandstands. This is a very social, 6 week only role and no exp is required.
We require people to assist us in transforming Northams rivers and trails into an environmentally friendly place which can be enjoyed by locals and visitors. We meet at 9am Friday mornings for an hour or so and you can come every week, every fortnight or even once a month if you like. You can work alone or with others and do as much or as little as you can. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills and make new friends plus get a little light exercise.
