SES volunteers play an important part in helping their communities during emergencies. While the primary role is to respond to incidents involving floods and storms, road crash rescue, land search and rescue; there are also support roles which contribute to the overall management of the unit including business and administration support, logistics and communications.
The Country Fire Service (CFS) serves communities through dedicated volunteers delivering professional fire and rescue services to outer metropolitan, regional and rural South Australia. The CFS offers a range of roles including: ~ Firefighter ~ Radio Operation ~ Catering ~ Administration Support ~ Operational Support ~ Community Education ~ Fundraising. Regardless of the role(s) you wish to undertake the CFS will provide full training by experienced and qualified trainers.
