Cairns Indigenous Art Fair requires event volunteers to help with a variety of positions at Tanks, Convention Centre and 96 Abbott Street in Cairns on 25th to 28th July 2024
Start any date that suits, as long as we are available. Minimum stay two weeks. You work 3.5 days each week. Days are long, from dawn to dusk, but the happy smiling faces of the animals around you will make it all worth it. Duties include daily cleaning of barns and coops, feeding, health checks, light maintenance work, monitoring herd movements and intensive care of ill, old and baby animals. Extra duties may be required when new there are new rescues or infants.

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us raise funds to change the lives of those we support in the Rugby League community who are struggling physically, financially and emotionally. We need your help on Saturday 11 May in Brisbane to make a difference for Ukrainians displaced by war. Walk My Way Ukraine is a charity walking event in Brisbane, starting and finishing at QUT Gardens Point Campus. We need help with setup, registration and marshalling along the walking course. Setup starts from 10am, registrations open at 11:30am and the walk will operate from 1pm-5pm. A few hours of your time will make a big difference for Ukrainian children and families displaced by war.
