Burnie Brae’s door-to-door transport service helps aged care clients get to the shops, appointments, activities and other events that matter to them. Our transport service accommodates people of all ages and needs, including disability access and mobility aids. Meals on Wheels Fraser Community has been operating for 56 years in the local area, delivering 2500 each week to approximately 500 clients. Our volunteers find the experience of volunteering for MOW very rewarding, and many have been with us for more than 10 years, and have formed lifetime friendships with staff, volunteers and clients.
