As a Volunteer Mobile Phone Technician, you will be responsible for handling a variety of technical issues, including screen and battery replacements, and resolving software and hardware problems on mobile devices. These devices are repurposed and distributed as safe phones to survivors of domestic violence as their lifeline to safety and assistance.
Helping to care for our herd of ten equine therapy horses and ponies. We have a team of Stable Hands that cover shifts, 365 days a year to feed and health-check the horses and keep their paddocks clean and safe.
This is our team of angels that make sure that the admin space and stable block are clean and tidy, the plants are watered, supplies are in stock etc. They also make sure that everything is in good order and is where it is meant to be. This is the perfect role for someone who would like to be near the horses but perhaps isn’t physically able to be on the stable team.
Our Ad-Hoc Helpers Team helps with organising ad-hoc activities including: • working bees • fundraising events • Gratitude Day lunches • annual Mega Market (held at the sanctuary) • our annual Seeing The Soul Art Prize & Exhibition.
Helping to raise awareness of the sanctuary and sell a range of merchandise at markets across the coast.
Helping to keep the gardens at the sanctuary neat, weed-free, and bright and cheerful.

AVIARY ATTENDANTS - Cleaning and feeding, interacting with the birds checking their health and wellbeing. On the job training given. For those who are doing animal studies this is a great hands on experience with achievement certificates available. Mature persons and retirees welcome. You will be driving our manual utility (ute) and automatic FUSO truck (open licence required) to pick up donated goods from the community, deliver goods to customer’s homes, deliver/pickup stock to/from our other Op Shops, take rubbish and unsaleable items to the local tip, load/unload the ute/truck as well as other related tasks.
We receive many and varied donations on a daily basis. The role encompasses sorting these donated items and pricing them suitable for sale in the shop. Persons with a disability are welcome to apply if they can meet the position requirements.
