The event is a more formal event starting with champagne and canapes while being serenaded by a pianist, moving down to the oval, where parties will be shown to their designated tables while a jazz band plays and dinner is served, finishing off with a rock band and some dancing, all while having games, entertainers and auctions happening throughout.

    Maroondah Winter Shelter provides a safe and warm place for homeless males to stay overnight during the winter months, 7 nights per week. Home cooked meals are provided. As a volunteer you would be making a difference to the lives of those who have been sleeping rough. Being able to listen, show care and treat our guests with dignity and compassion is what we ask for.
