Edmund Rice Centre WA is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to serve as a Volunteer Computer Program Teacher. In this role, you will be responsible for introducing adult students from refugee and migrant backgrounds to the world of computers and guiding them through various levels of proficiency - from beginner to intermediate.
Volunteer Digital Literacy tutors help students learn important digital literacy skills needed in the English as an Additional Language (EAL) classroom and in their daily lives.
EAL Tutors support students in a classroom, and may tutor small groups or support individual students with specific skills development, under the guidance of a qualified teacher. Adult Literacy Tutors support adult students with literacy learning on a one to one basis under the guidance of the Adult Literacy Coordinator.
Do you enjoy meeting new people? We are seeking volunteers one day a week (with preference for Wednesdays from 10:00am – 2:00pm or Friday from 12:30pm – 3:30pm) to be the first point of contact for our front reception, by meeting and greeting visitors into our Kooyong centre at Vision Australia. After settling into the role, there is flexibility for other half day shifts for e.g. 9:00am – 1:00pm or 1:00 – 4:30pm from Monday to Friday.
We are looking for a prop technician to help build props and support our clients on Thursday's from June through to the end of November

Volunteer for a three-hour shift once a week. Work remotely over the phone, with music scores emailed to you for transcription.
Community Support Frankston (CSF) is an Incorporated not for profit organisation located near central Frankston. Our agency consists of highly skilled community workers (volunteers) who assist disadvantaged members of the Frankston community with material aid, advocacy and information.
Mentoring of young people to complete 50 hours of supervised car driving experience. An automatic RYDE vehicle which is comprehensively insured, maintained and has a fuel card is provided. The RYDE car is based at Geographe Leisure Centre. There is no formal age range of volunteer mentors, as long as you have a current licence, can drive safely and have a good understanding of road rules.
