If you enjoy engaging with primary school children and have a knack for storytelling, we would love to have you as part of our Museum Schools Team. You will be working with a small team in a supervised, supported environment. You don’t need to be a teacher – a delight in talking with kids is the main skill we are seeking. Our Schools Team lead school activities in the Museum, as well as running off-site programs through our History on the Move trailer. Volunteers must be vaccinated.
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors, so this role requires a well presented individual, with good communication and interpersonal skills. Tasks include ticket and retail sales, visitor greeting, orientation and assistance, telephone inquiries and direction.
