Help children from migrant communities of Melbourne with their schoolwork through the Homework Club. No prior experience required. Ages range from Prep-Year 12 and covers all school subjects. You can pick what ages and subjects you are comfortable with. Assistance is primarily given over zoom with the children.

AVIARY ATTENDANTS - Cleaning and feeding the birds, interacting with the birds checking their health and wellbeing, collecting and cleaning food dishes. Mature persons and retirees welcome. Our sanctuary is a Centrelink and Work for the Dole approved workplace.
A Volunteer Tutor is required to assist our teacher in the classroom at TAFE from 5pm – 8.30pm Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Our students are learning to improve their oral and written English skills.
The volunteers assist riders with leading horses or walking along side riders/horses during their classes. All classes are designed and controlled by our qualified coach. Native wildlife needs your help. Rescue sick and injured birds, possums, lizards, turtles and frogs, and transport them to a vet for urgent assessment and treatment.
Farm Sanctuary work If you can commit to regular volunteering once a week or fortnight for at least six months, this is for you! Daily tasks include cleaning chicken/rooster houses and horse paddocks as well as sweeping and raking to keep the sanctuary safe. There will also be cleaning water troughs and bowls and grooming horses. Hooded Plovers are small coastal shorebirds. Listed as vulnerable nationally, there are less than 800 of these birds in South Australia with only 22 breeding pairs found on the Fleurieu Peninsula. There are multiple ways that you can assist to protect these birds. Fleurieu Hoodie Helpers are needed to monitor a given pair of birds on a particular beach and report sightings of bird behaviour.
Tidy up of the cross country course includes mowing, painting, picking up of sticks, fence repairs and whipper snippering.
General duties as required including clearing the paddocks of manure, cleaning the track etc.
