Mentoring of young people to complete 50 hours of supervised car driving experience. An automatic RYDE vehicle which is comprehensively insured, maintained and has a fuel card is provided. The RYDE car is based at Geographe Leisure Centre. There is no formal age range of volunteer mentors, as long as you have a current licence, can drive safely and have a good understanding of road rules.

The Centre is an active member of Secondbite, we collect fruit, vegetables and bread from several Coles around the area. So you will be driving a van (manual) with someone from the Centre to collect the food, then to sort the food. It involves manual handling, food crates weight max 16kg each.
