Join a national NFP promoting the celebration of National Wattle Day and Australia's National Floral Emblem, the Golden Wattle . Wattle is a unifying symbol for all Australians and is celebrated on 1 September each year. It is the Green and Gold of our sporting teams.
The role is to be the face of the Hand Weavers & Guild at our beautiful and historic premises at Brush Farm House in Eastwood. There is free on-site parking or a bus it at the door from either Parramatta or Eastwood stations. If this doesn't suit we have other volunteer opportunities available in the library, marketing, event management, and office administration.
Rockingham Art Centre (RAC) is a vibrant art venue with a B Category boutique gallery space, a multi-use room for workshops, exhibitions and pop up shows and a studio space for artists (short term hire or Artist in residence). Volunteers would provide coverage for reception, information and sales. Assistance with events including openings and exhibition installation and de-installation is also included. Shifts may be three to five hours. Two volunteers will be required for each shift.
The Manly Art Gallery and Museum (MAG&M), established in 1930 and the first metropolitan regional gallery in New South Wales, holds extensive collections of 19th to 21st century art and ceramics. MAG&M is owned and managed by Northern Beaches Council. Provide a welcoming arrival for visitors and provide basic information about the exhibitions. This is a great opportunity to utilise your customer service skills and appreciation for art, and to meet new people in your community.

Our Cafe has become a popular dining destination, for locals and visitors alike seeking a cafe experience with a difference. Support a regional/remote arts organisation with book-keeping, accounting and treasury tasks. Provide mentoring to upskill a volunteer and work as an accounting consultant. Help us mature our processes, financial governance and controls.
Key duties of the Treasurer include: Serve as an Office Bearer on the Committee; process weekly transactions; prepare monthly and annual reports plus the annual budget, maintain financial records; monitor expenditure in relation to the budget; advise the Committee on all financial matters relating to the running of the association.
The Stationmaster's Gallery, situated next to the Information Centre in Strathalbyn, is a Community gallery showcasing quality artwork, jewellery, silks, woodwork, fabric art, sculptures, cards and much more. Housed in a lovely historic railway building, the Stationmaster's Gallery is operated by a group of dedicated volunteers. We would love some additional volunteers to help out on WEEKENDS.
Are you passionate about music, art and culture? As a member of the Bass Coast FReeZA Committee, you will work with a team of like-minded people to design, plan and deliver events in the community, based around music, art and culture- that are drug, alcohol and smoke free. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in and learn from industry experts.

Cooinda Aged Care are looking for volunteers to work alongside their Creative Lifestyle staff to help run visual arts workshops and activities. These include, painting, drawing, textiles or sculpture. You have the opportunity to lead or be part of a team. They are also looking for Volunteers who cam provide companionship and join in to facilitate Board Games, Outings, readings or just going for walks or talking to the residents.
