Bowen Collinsville Pet Rescue Inc is a foster based animal rescue supporting dogs and cats across the Whitsundays, Bowen, Collinsville, Ayr and surrounding areas of North Queensland.
We don't have a shelter. Instead, we rely on a caring network of foster carers and volunteers who open their homes and give their time so animals can leave the pound and wait somewhere safe and loving. From there, we get to know each animal's personality, look after their health and match them with families who will love them for life.
Every animal that comes through our rescue has a story, and many arrive scared, unwell or overlooked. With a little time and patience, we watch them grow into confident, happy companions ready for their forever homes.
Our volunteers are the reason any of this is possible. Whether it's fostering, transport, admin, events or helping from home, every role plays a part in saving lives. We welcome people of all backgrounds and experience levels, and we'll support you every step of the way.
