Dubbo Neighbourhood Centre is looking for volunteers to visit (or virtually visit via phone when Covid-19 isolation is required) with lonely or socially isolated people in Dubbo.
We are seeking volunteer Digital skills mentors to help older Australians use devices and go online. You don't need to be an IT whiz - you just need basic skills and patience. Devices may include using a smartphone, tablet/ipad, or laptop. You will meet with learners one-on-one or in small groups at our centre in Dubbo. Induction training and support provided to digital skills mentors. Be Connected online resources available for seniors and mentors.
Do you have a passion for fashion? Assist with raising funds through the sale of donated and new clothing, accessories and homewares to support the everyday work of Red Cross.
