These programs are designed to cater for people who may be experiencing dementia or memory loss.

ECH has Day Programs are held at Smithfield, Henley Beach, Happy Valley, and Walkerville each offering a range of activities such as gardening, arts and craft, billiards, cooking, music, dancing & gentle exercise programs.

ECH is looking for some 2 legged (human) volunteers to assist in their Day Programs together with their good natured & well trained pets to visit clients.

ECH Day Programs are designed to cater for people who may be experiencing dementia, or memory loss to engage in a range of social activities.

Dogs are popular but other pets are welcome too if they are healthy, confident with strangers, never timid & well mannered.

• Assist participants with check-in and bib collection
• Support participants at checkpoints with water and encouragement
• Cheer participants at finish line, distribute rewards, and fundraise

• Deliver meals with a partner in Western Suburbs
• Driver role: use own car, mileage reimbursement available
• Passenger role: ride along, no car or license needed

• Support day-to-day retail operations and customer service
• Engage in visual merchandising, sorting donations, and clothes production
• Flexible shift lengths, volunteer commitment, and training provided
