Transporting our clients in our fleet of cars to and from destinations, often medical appointments. Clients may be frail and aged, have a disability and do not have transport.
Position involves the use of the Flood boat, rescue services, land search, tree-lopping and first aid etc.
Reports to Admin Manager. Registering people into the event. Sign on/off, display results. Main hub for communication to participants, bag room and body marking.
Report to Cycle Manager. Turn point assistant, ensure rider safety and number check off. Road marshal, manage spectators and pedestrians to ensure no one walks out in front of bikes.
Report to Swim Manager. Marshalling participants into their wave groups. Counting participants entering and leaving the water. Directing participants towards transition area. Managing safety of participants in line with the Surf Life Savers.
Report to Manager. Manage runners on course; ensure competitors are going in the right direction. Man drinks station handing drinks to participants. Manage runners and monitor traffic. Turn point assistant, Mark off runner to ensure no one turns early.
Report to Event Manager. Set up of post-race recovery area, registration area and courses, sponsorship flags and expo area. Set up and manage presentations. Act as contact point for competitors. Ensure trophies, prizes and medals are in order.
Report to Event Manager. Ensure only competitors enter transition zone. Manage direction and flow of competitors. Assist with pack down of transition. Ensure only participant with body number take matching bike number.
Guiding competitors to the designated car parking areas and registration of competitors if necessary.
Ensure all competitors have drinks available to them during and after the race at various points along the course and the finish-line. Clean up used and unused cups and bottles after event. Pack unused drinks back into the cartons.
Direct all competitors towards the recovery area, assist in removing the timing chips from participants and the finishing line. Assist with giving water and fruit to competitors and assist to identify participant's race numbers and name.
We require drivers to pick-up donated food from Coles Banora Point and drop off at Murwillumbah/Crystal Creek
