We provide low-cost local native plants to the public and park organisations. We hope that by encouraging the planting of local native plants this will increase the biodiversity & climate resilience of the Whitehorse area.

The Donnybrook Repair Corner event will run on the first Saturday every month providing local residents of Donnybrook and surrounding areas with an opportunity to have personal items repaired by skilled volunteer repairers. It is a free, all inclusive cross cultural event to raise awareness of how to have a more sustainable lifestyle and divert items from landfill in our community.

    Our volunteer-led Not-For-Profit group, CANsign, has dispatched hundreds of thousands of signs/stickers for Climate Action Network Australia (CANA) member groups. We organise print, design, and dispatch services for other NFP groups, and we love what we do. We are looking for energetic volunteers to join our happy team to help in this rewarding work we do for all CANA groups. Currently operating out of NSW and near the ACT, CANsign is now looking to expand into other cities/States.

    Want hands-on work that actually helps the environment? We grow local native (indigenous) plants from seed or cuttings for revegetation projects or local gardens. Our retail area is open to the public for plant sales. More indigenous plants in gardens and larger revegetation projects provide habitat for native animals, birds and insects, and reduce species loss. We rely on volunteers but lockdowns hit us hard. Please help us get back to the thriving nursery from before the pandemic!

The Merri-bek TAC L2P Program assists young learner drivers (aged between 16-21) who have no access to a supervising driver or vehicle, to gain the driving experience required to apply for a probationary licence. Volunteer mentors support young people to gain supervised driving experience in an L2P car - no cost to young people or volunteers. Volunteers undertake comprehensive VicRoads training.
