Based at The Mackay Base Hospital, our warm and welcoming Ronald McDonald Family Room provides a refuge for parents whose child is receiving treatment at the hospital. Through the generous contribution of volunteers, this facility is available to families 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm.
Mentoring of young people to complete 50 hours of supervised car driving experience. An automatic RYDE vehicle which is comprehensively insured, maintained and has a fuel card is provided. The RYDE car is based at Geographe Leisure Centre. There is no formal age range of volunteer mentors, as long as you have a current licence, can drive safely and have a good understanding of road rules.
