CARAD is a very small not for profit organisation that provides support for people seeking asylum. CARAD runs on love, receiving donations and funds from our generous community. We have a small office building with an outdoor area that needs a sweep and tidy occasionally. We also sometimes need help with our retic and some small maintenance jobs.

    We are seeking an IT Volunteer for our IT Support & Technology Services team in our head office, to work on hardware related projects for a 6-month period starting from July 2024. This placement could be extended depending on the project completions and candidate suitability. Time commitment is a minimum of 8 hours a week from Monday to Friday during business hours from 9:00am – 5:00pm or divided over 2 days with 4 hours each day. Days and times are flexible.

    Are you concerned about the amount of rubbish on our coastline? Adopt a Spot are recruiting volunteers to nominate an area of coastline to manage the removal of marine debris. Tasks will include daily cleans, collation of data (taking pictures of marine debris & reporting back on data via email or social media), disposal of materials in accordance with Local Council rubbish/recycling guidelines and provide community education in sustainable practices.
