For many MOW recipients, the volunteer is the only person they see that day, so the service also plays a vital role in social connection and monitoring wellbeing of older people. Our retail area is open to the public for plant sales. More indigenous plants in gardens and larger revegetation projects provide habitat for native animals, birds and insects, and reduce species loss. We rely on volunteers but lockdowns hit us hard. Please help us get back to the thriving nursery from before the pandemic!
