We are currently looking at improving and bringing some regularity to our social media presence - and really need some help!

To assist in the operation of the Esperance Civic Centre during performances and as required.

To assist in the upkeep of the Cannery Arts Centre gardens. The Centre has vast gardens which need taming and maintaining. This role involves watering, weed removal and general grounds keeping (and the freedom to pick and choose which tasks you want to tackle!)

This position involves using a rag cutting machine and cutting various fabric items into rag size pieces and sorting them into 4 different rag bag types: white, flannel, cotton and mixed.

The position involves standing (Although we can provide a stool) and is quite physically demanding on the arms and back.

Purposeful lighting takes art exhibitions from great to groundbreaking - which means we need a team of keen volunteers that know their way around the system and how the new gallery lights work! The Cannery is conducting GALLERY LIGHTING TRAINING ON SEPT 10 so now is the perfect time to sign up for this crew!

• Experience with Audacity or similar audio editing software required

• Create social media posts on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram weekly
• Transform audio files into video content for YouTube channel
• Design posters, thumbnails using Canva or AI image generators

• Reside in Australia with experience in governance, trade, or law
• Obtain Director ID through Australian Business Registry Service
• Volunteer role in new national body shaping Australian craftsmanship

• Maintain financial records, prepare reports, manage production budgets
• Solid financial literacy and MYOB proficiency required
• Contribute to committee decisions, present financial reports at AGM
