Develop and implement strategies for increasing membership for the Environment Centre.
Help protect Thomsons Lake, a wetland of international importance, and surrounding bushland by assisting the City of Cockburn with removing invasive weeds. Foreign weeds are an ongoing threat to these habitats, and this work helps to keep them in their natural state, ultimately providing a home for animals such as bandicoots, possums, frogs, turtles and a number of bird species.
Kathleen Day Playgroup is in need of a volunteers who can do Gardening and responsible in weeding/pruning as general yard maintenance for 2 hours.
We require someone who is friendly and able to work as part of a team and follow instructions. You will be sowing seeds and making cuttings, pot filling, stock maintenance, propagation of plants for rehabilitation for land care groups. No experience is needed as you will be working with the guidance of trained staff.

We need volunteers to help out the Friends of Attadale Foreshore with the construction of an Osprey nest, as well as invasive weed species removal. These charismatic birds of prey utilise large nests made from sticks and driftwood, and this work will help to provide safe and secure sights for their breeding. Come along and help these beautiful birds and spot one fishing along the Swan!
SEAGRASS MONITORING is back! The Broome Community Seagrass Monitoring Project is one of the longest running and most successful community science projects in the Kimberley. The project engages large amounts of volunteers as well as Indigenous rangers to monitor seagrass meadows within Roebuck Bay.

Come and join us as a TRAILER VOLUNTEER, for the EK market stall. Helpers are needed for short shifts (less than one hour) on Saturday’s to drive the market trailer a short distance to OR from the markets and help with set up OR pack down of the stall. This is a fun, easy and rewarding way to help protect this beautiful place that we live in!
Coordinate the operations of the share every month. Work with the committee to plan a focus, feature or talk for the upcoming share. Be responsible for the keys and membership sign up. Know how to setup and pack down from the share and ensure the premises is left secure.
The Broome CIRCLE community garden will bring together Broome CIRCLE clients, volunteers and the wider Broome community. The community garden will show people how to grow their own healthy food and will provide produce that is accessible to everyone. Volunteers are needed to support the coordinator in establishing and later maintaining the garden.
Perth’s wetlands and catchments are valuable natural assets and you can help Conservation Volunteers Australia to restore them by joining this project on the 1st and 4th February 2019. We will be at a City of Cockburn site within the Swan Canning catchment. Join our team leaders for a day out in the environment as we help out with mulching, green stock management, invasive weed removal and much more.
Are you a keen gardener? Do you enjoy spending time with elderly people and giving back to the community. Some of our residents require volunteers to help them with some simple gardening duties. NO LIFTING IS REQUIRED. We have gardening contractors for the majority of the gardens at Brightwater, but some of our residents have their own little patch, or maybe some potted plants and need some assistance to care for them.
Come assist the Town of Fremantle is restoring Port Beach after severe coastal erosion last winter. We will be helping to stabilise and build back up the remaining dunes with jute matting and brushing.
