    "If all we do is clean up, thats all we will ever do!" Conservation Volunteers are working in partnership with the Southern Regional Waste Program and Tangaroa Blue to collect important information about Marine Debris in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven. Adding this information to the Australian Marine Debris Database will allow us to create source reduction strategies and better inform local government decisions on targeting reduction of plastic in our waterways.

  2. Reef Blitz: Fitzroy Island Debris Clean-Up Adventure Day

    Reef Blitz is an awareness raising event featuring practical, hands-on conservation efforts by ordinary people engaged in citizen science. This year, we will be undertaking a clean-up of the beaches on Fitzroy Island, followed by opportunities for volunteers to participate in other activities such as Glassbottom Boat tour of the island, or a tour of the Turtle Rehabilitation Facility.
