Your encouraging and patient approach is exactly what we need! Chatting with residents will be a welcome benefit to our Occupational Therapy and dementia teams. People with dementia may become more confused, restless in the afternoon or early evening and your patient attention, conversation and calming approach will be appreciated.
Can you help? Our Occupational Therapy Team will welcome your volunteer help, particularly in late afternoons. Your kind and patient one on one conversations will be welcomed by our residents who need more attention in the late afternoons.
