Want to help people living with vision loss? Macular degeneration is the leading cause of blindness in Australians and we are after someone to help run peer support groups for people living with macular degeneration!
MDFA's Peer Support Groups provide a safe and welcoming space for people living with aged-related macular degeneration to share their stories and ask questions of their peers. The Facilitator role is well suited to someone with good communications skills and confidence in public speaking. Ideally you will have experience facilitating a peer support group and/or demonstrate the ability to lead a balanced discussion. Personal experience with macular disease is desirable, not necessary.

ThrivEd is a not-for-profit textbook authoring company that produces Year 12 textbooks, with sales helping to produce an additional copy in every 2 sales that is donated to school libraries in low-socioeconomic areas.
