Juniper is looking for Pastoral Care Volunteers for sites across WA.

Juniper is seeking compassionate and dedicated Pastoral Care Volunteers to provide meaningful one-on-one support to our residents. In this fulfilling role, you’ll spend time with allocated residents, offering friendly conversation, emotional support, and spiritual connection. Guided by our Site Chaplain, you’ll help nurture each resident’s wellbeing, dignity, and sense of belonging.

• Manage social media content and engage with online community
• Update website with news, research updates, and donation opportunities
• Experience in social media management, basic graphic design skills

• Organize and facilitate climate justice workshops in local schools
• Recruit and train local group facilitators for workshops
• Support students and create safe space for under 18s

• Support charity vision and values with strategic planning
• Oversee operational and financial performance, risk management
• Recruit, support staff and volunteers, ensure regulatory compliance

• Provide meals and refreshments to emergency services personnel
• Assist in food prep, meal service, set-up, operation, clean-up
• Work under guidance of SAES Site Team Leader

• Volunteer at free, weekly 5km community events in parks
• Various roles available for all ages, no training required
• Contribute to community, meet new people, have fun

• Volunteer at weekly 5km parkrun events in public spaces
• Roles include setting up, timekeeping, scanning, and tailwalking
• No age restriction, no training required, flexible commitment options

• Provide companionship and friendship to aged care facility residents
• Matched one-on-one with participants or run small interest groups
• Training provided; 1 hour a week commitment; flexible schedule

• Educate community on injury prevention through presentations
• Refer individuals to seek professional advice when necessary
• Participate in ongoing training and feedback opportunities regularly

• Provide companionship and social support to older Australians
• Engage in activities and conversations based on shared interests
• Commit to ongoing training and uphold Aged Care Code of Conduct

Do you have a love of trains? We are looking for versatile volunteers and have several different positions to fill: Driver / Guard / Signaller / Maintenance Crew and the Kiosk.

In each of these positions you can also assist with roles such as customer service, public direction, ticket collection, signal operation, guard, maintenance crew etc. and eventually the elevation to 'Train Driver' for those who are interested.
